The ‘Thick Shed’ reimagines the facade as more than an exterior shell—it becomes a dynamic, multifunctional space. Instead of walking around it, people walk into it, using it as a main circulation route that connects different areas of the building. This new facade functions as a habitable zone where movement and interaction happen. Interior spaces are “plugged” into the facade, meaning users pass through it to reach other parts of the building. This design blurs the line between exterior and interior, creating a more fluid and engaging user experience.
